Who we are

Baseline is a scheduling app for independent tennis coaches, operated as a sole proprietorship based in Austin, Texas. Contact: hello@coachbaseline.com.

Information we collect

• Coach account information: the email address used to sign in, and settings the coach enters, such as their city and payment handle.
• Client information entered by the coach: a client's name, phone number, skill level, optional payment handle, and coaching notes. Coaches enter this about their own clients in order to schedule and teach lessons.
• Session information: dates, times, courts, rosters, attendance status and whether a session has been paid for.
• Text message records: when a reminder was sent to a client, and whether the client replied to confirm.

Baseline does not collect location in the background, does not track people across other apps or websites, and does not use advertising identifiers. A coach may enter their city to look up nearby courts and the local forecast; that lookup uses the city name only.

How we use it

• To show a coach their schedule, rosters, clients and notes.
• To send session reminders and scheduling updates to clients whose coach has recorded their agreement to receive them.
• To record replies, so a client who replies YES is marked confirmed for that session.
• To keep the service working, secure and free of abuse.

We do not use any of this for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Text messages

Clients receive texts only when their coach has recorded that they agreed to receive reminders about their lessons. Messages are limited to reminders, confirmations, scheduling changes and requests for the lesson fee. Replying STOP to any message ends texts to that number.

Phone numbers and text message consent are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers that run the service:

• Supabase — stores account, client and session data, and handles sign-in.
• Twilio — delivers text messages to clients and returns their replies.
• Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap — used to look up nearby courts and the forecast for a coach's city. These receive a place name only, never client information.

These providers may only process the information in order to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How it is protected and kept

Data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, so each coach can reach only their own clients, sessions and notes. Information is kept as long as the coach's account is active. A coach can delete any client, session or note at any time from inside the app; deleting a client also removes their notes and takes them off every roster.

Your choices

• Clients may reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.
• Clients may ask their coach to remove their information from Baseline.
• Anyone whose information is in Baseline may email hello@coachbaseline.com to request access to it or ask for it to be deleted.

Children

Baseline is intended for coaches, who are adults. A coach may record a junior player as a client. In that case the coach is responsible for getting the parent's or guardian's agreement before entering a phone number or turning on reminders.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
